JOB PROGRAM: Cedar View I & II Apartments Southwestern Colorado Services Division
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in human services related field or equivalent relevant experience. At least one year of experience with the following is required: Senior citizens and/or people with disabilities; Group facilitation and/or teaching. Require own transportation, valid driver’s license and up-to-date insurance. Excellent interpersonal skills and good organizational skills. Some experience in working with computers; knowledge of Windows environment preferred. Individuals with experience in the following areas will be given preference: Case management; Awareness of area human service resources. Bilingual (Spanish) language skills helpful.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Service Coordinator is responsible for assessing the needs of the residents of 202/Section 8 Housing and linking them with community resources to enable the residents to continue to live independently. The position requires ongoing interaction with the residents, resident’s family members, Community Administrator, service providers, agency administration, medical and hospital staff, social workers, volunteers and others in the community. This job does not include facilitating recreation events at the housing facility.
SALARY: $15.71 per hour
HOURS: Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
