Maintenance Staff is responsible for maintaining restaurant in safe operating condition, addressing immediate operational and safety concerns, and maintaining and repairing all equipment, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, flooring, painting and all aspects of the restaurant.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
1) Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, flooring, interior wall, commercial refrigeration equipment, griddles, fryers, ice machine, roof-top exhaust fan and cooling fan system, lighting, interior wall, flooring, cabinets, shelving, etc.
2) Install system component parts such as plumbing, electrical and gas kitchen equipment, kitchen appliances, etc.
3) Perform a variety of preventive maintenance activities such as filters, belts, thermostats, etc. for maintaining each equipment in an operative and safe condition.
4) Monitor kitchen equipment and refrigeration units for all restaurant locations to ensure each equipment is operating in a safe and efficient manner.
5) Correctly complete all paperwork required for each job with detail notes of work performed and all supplies or parts used to complete the repair.
6) Maintain and track inventory of parts and supplies and ensure availability of items required to complete necessary installation or repair.
7) Timely completion of assigned work orders.
8) Other responsibilities that may assign by the Company or Maintenance Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENT, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE:
Must have a Valid State Driver's License with good driving record.
Knowledge of basic computer skills such as using the internet and email.
Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds.
Have appropriate licenses as required.
Strong oral and written communication skill and ability to multi-task.
Ability to prioritize tasks and complete jobs in safe a timely manner.
Flexibility and reliability in work schedule.
General plumbing and electrical knowledge.
Bachelor’s degree or certification from an accredited college or university and 10 years of safety experience
Or P.E. registration, IOSH-RSP, CSP, CIH, CHP or CRSP certification and five years of safety experience.
