  • Reviews daily work sheets, equipment sheets, accident, safety and incident documentation.
  • Work effectively with peers to provide successful rehabilitation and repair of a variety of sewer and storm water drain lines.
  • Willing to learn on the job.
  • Able to work independently building & installing drain pipe liners
  • Ability to work effectively with common hand tools
  • Plumbing experience is a plus
  • Able to lift objects at least 75 lbs.
  • Able to climb ladders
  • Work effectively & communicate properly with plumbing subcontractors toward a common goal.
  • Drive various vehicles (pickups, vans, & pull trailers) to haul crews and equipment to various job locations.
  • Assist peers in initial setup and cleanup of sites
  • Work on roof of buildings when necessary.
  • Enter or work in manhole for NU Drain Louisiana installations.
  • Work within storm water & sewer infrastructure maintenance and construction programs. Program elements include: storm water pipe construction and rehabilitation, storm water concrete infrastructure construction and rehabilitation, storm water system inspection cleaning and maintenance, and customer service requests.
  • Responsible for working well with peers in assigned jobs.
  • Evaluates work location hazards, road and right of way conditions, access to infrastructure, and infrastructure ownership responsibilities.
  • Communicates and responds to issues or concerns of peers, constituents, public and private entities. Answer questions or concerns from the public in a polite, ethical, resourceful, & respected manner.
