Position Overview:

Certain is looking for an engaged and motivated team player to join a team of Sales Development Representatives at one of Silicon Valley’s fast growth SaaS companies. This critical entry to mid-level sales role will be responsible for generating new business opportunities to maximize revenue growth through lead generation and through follow up on events and marketing campaigns.  You will learn how to identify and research companies to target and how to develop email, phone and social campaigns to generate new business opportunities.  You will build early-stage relationships with marketing executives at Fortune 1000 companies. This position requires a strongly self-motivated, tenacious and results-oriented contributor who can effectively interact with a team, and thrives in an entrepreneurial and customer-focused environment.  SDRs must have a strong understanding of the company's products and services, and be ready to effectively communicate Certain’s many solutions to customers.
 
Responsibilities: 

Job Summary

This position is responsible for driving a 24’ box delivery truck and general warehouse work.   All other duties as needed and assigned.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivery/Driving
  • Make local deliveries via twenty-four-foot box truck.
  • Make deliveries by towing a twenty-two-foot flatbed trailer towed by F350 pickup truck
  • Support the Construction department’s utilization of the warehouse

o   Provide guidance to Site Supervisors and AmeriCorps Construction Assistants on materials and warehouse policies and procedures

o   Receive/take incoming inventory orders via phone/e-mail.

o   Pull inventory orders for delivery

o   Accurately check materials in and out from warehouse.

o   Load and unload vehicles and trailers.

o   Receive / Restock inventory/tool returns from work sites.

o   Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse to include beak rooms and bathrooms

 

  • Inventory control

o   Receive inventory deliveries from vendors

  • Stock shelves with newly received inventory
  • Maintain forward stock
  • Organize the inventory and shelving to continually improve warehouse efficiency
  • Assist in bi-weekly cycle counts

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

  • Experience Driving/Delivery via Panel Box truck
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Current Department of Transportation medical certificate. (DOT)
  • Experience with all phases of warehouse operations
  • Experience with forklift operation. Current forklift operator certificate preferred. (Training may be provided upon hire.)
  • Current CPR and First Aid certificate (Training may be provided upon hire.)
  • Experience with construction tools, methods, and materials helpful.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Independently Label, sort and stock items up to 70 pounds
  • Stand on concrete flooring for prolonged time periods
  • Bend, lift, grasp, reach, push and pull materials
  • Walk and climb uneven surfaces, ladders and stairs
  • Independently operate a motor vehicle

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

 

The work is performed in an office and warehouse environment, with exposure to warm and cold temperatures and machine noise.

 

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED

Must be able to either operate a forklift or be able to learn and operate construction tools as needed.

Must be able to drive twenty-two-foot box truck.

Must be able to tow twenty-two-foot trailer via a pick-up truck.
