PPV, Inc., is the premier water & sewer infrastructure maintenance service provider in the Northwest with operations in the Portland metro area.

The position
Do you have a CDL Class "A" Driver's License? Do you have a tanker endorsement? Are you looking for a steady schedule that allows you to be home every day? Are you results driven? The driver will be responsible for complying with all DOT, state regulations, and Company safety and compliance policies.
Who you are
- Works cooperatively as a team member
- Ensures that daily paperwork is fully documented and maintained
- Maintain a good driving record for personal and business driving
- Maintain a current valid Class “A” license AND a tanker endorsement
- Meet and maintain all DOT and Company physical and medical requirements
- Available for on-call rotation as needed
- Pay close attention to the vehicle and promptly report any maintenance requirements
- 1+ year of commercial driving experience preferred
- Current CDL Class “A” license REQUIRED
- Tanker Endorsement must be obtained prior to employment
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Team player with a positive, professional attitude
- Flexible attitude and mindset
- Ability to pass road skills evaluation
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Sense of urgency in delivering safe, efficient service
Work Environment
- Heavy driving, vibration, noise may exceed 80 dBA
- Drive and operate Vac-tankers & Combo Vac-trucks
- Schedule variations required to meet customer demands
- Varied weather working in hot, cold and wet conditions
- Traffic stress
- Strong odors and smells
- Handle hoses & connection equipment related to loading and off-loading
- Generally start at 6 to 6:30 AM and work an 8 hour shift
Job Type: This full time position is located in Portland, OR.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
