The Arc of the Quad Cities Area is looking to hire caring, compassionate, and motivated people to help Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live their best lives!

Someone in this position should have good communication skills, be dependable, and have good initiative and teamwork skills. We provide on-the-job training to ensure our individuals are receiving quality care and support. Responsibilities include but are not limited to direct care to individuals, assisting with showers, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, medication administration, documentation, preparing and cooking meals, housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, assisting with doctor appointments, outings, running programs, activities, etc.

 

The minimum requirements for this position are the following:

Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance, be able to provide proof of a high school education (Diploma, Transcripts, or GED), and pass both an Iowa and Illinois background check.
