Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm | $44,700-$60,000/year

The role of the Academic Advisor 1 at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and in the The College of Information Science and Technology (IS&T) is to provide students guidance to achieve a meaningful educational experience and develop professional and personal goals. The Academic Advisor 1 position works primarily advising undergraduate students and supports and assists the department and peer advisors on project responsibilities.
Responsibilities include activities related to academic advising; transfer and credit evaluations; retention and persistence; student support, coaching, and referrals; new student onboarding; recruiting activities; strategic planning and oversight; university and professional development; and other duties as assigned.
