Description
SUMMARY
Welds a variety of metal thicknesses, selection of proper welding parameters for a strong weld and minimum distortion and good visual appearance with minimum grinding. Program, edit, run and troubleshoot the robot welder.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Uses Kewaunee’s scheduling system paperwork to identify parts scheduled to run, operations, and standard hours.
- Proficient in using measuring tools i.e. dial calibers, micrometers, and tape measures.
- Program, edit, run and troubleshoot the robot welder.
- Read and interpret part drawings and blueprints.
