NEW HIGHER PAY: $34,936 - $61,137
The Challenge
We're looking for 2 entry-level Engineering Technicians to join our Division 3 Engineering team.
 
In this role, you will learn to:
    • Provide technical work supporting senior technicians and engineers.
    • Provide general office and computer support for data entry relating to project records, SAP, and HiCams.
    • Process monthly and final estimates, check calculations, and resolve pay record and material quantity discrepancies.
    • Research project documents.
    • Process material prepayments.
    • Track Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation.
    • Assist with project meetings.
    • Track technician certifications to ensure they are kept current.
What You Bring
    • Experience working in a team environment to complete assignments.
    • Computer knowledge and skills using laptops, iPads, and software.
    • Customer service experience interacting with the public.
Bonus Points!
Candidates with:
    • Knowledge and understanding of general concepts, practices, and theories used in construction, construction inspection, and/or construction surveying.
    • Knowledge of standards and specifications and plan reading experience.
    • Knowledge of survey crew techniques, duties, and responsibilities.
Education & Experience
    • Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Survey Technology, or a related curriculum; or
    • An equivalent combination of training and experience.
