Overall Summary

As a Global Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining RCCP capacity supply plans, and master production schedules that balance capacity, inventory, cost, lead time, and risk in accordance with supply planning management best practices. In addition, this role will be responsible for identifying supply plan constraints, tracking, and adhering to KPIs and coordinating across engineering, operations, and finance teams to evaluate and recommend potential solutions when issues arise. The solutions developed by the individual in this role will be delivered to leadership through a high-tempo rhythm of business that demands the ability to develop robust analysis and reporting skills and documentation, communicate crisply, and drive changes on short intervals.  This role requires experience in business strategy, supply planning, total cost to serve, S&OP, statistical inventory management methods, advanced planning systems and methodologies, and IT infrastructure concepts. This role will also be responsible for enabling tools and developing processes to analyze trends, root causes and implementing both tactical and strategic initiatives to improve supply continuity, ability to project disruptions, while minimizing global inventories.

Your duties will include:

  1. Drive Infrastructure Supply Planning and S&OP, develops 0-to-36-month capacity and/or resource plans and responsible for balancing capacity among qualified suppliers and internal manufacturing.
  2. Prepare, present, and discuss data center supply strategy with senior leadership relating to cost, lead time, risk, and technical/operational constraints.
  3. Document key demand and supply drivers and dependencies and input processes to signal critical infrastructure. Support demand review meetings, conduct regular communication and supply review meetings to ensure schedule adherence, service levels and inventory targets are met. Communicates risks and elevates issues that require resolution.
  4. Identify, evaluate, and implement supply planning improvements drawing on statistical methods, supply planning principles, S&OP best practices, and emerging software technology capabilities.
  5. Work across a diverse group of stakeholders to ensure we collaboratively improve, adapt, and adopt our processes and supporting software systems to support rapidly changing business requirements.
  6. Builds and manages key relationships needed for supply planning. Drives collaboration and alignment on plans; cross-functional relationships. Reviews and communicates forecast adjustments and their impact on Manufacturing Operations and Customer Service.
  7. Drives long-term strategy for plans and drives additional forecast variability, and with longer-term planning horizons. Performs root cause analysis of service shortfalls and develops and communicates corrective actions.

  • Demonstrated leadership working across cultures and functions under tight deadlines with strong analytical skills, written and verbal communication and managerial skillsets.
  • Demonstrated ability to Program Manage complex, efforts of supply planning processes. Must have knowledge of currently available technologies associated with planning, managing, and analyzing the supply chain.
  • Excellent communicator and demonstrated ability to influence and facilitate cross-functional corporate teaming.
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (JDE/SAP), Advanced Supply Planning,
  • Supply Planning Horizons and long-range demand/supply planning, Demand vs Supply Analysis, Rough Cut Capacity Planning and Production capacity planning

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification

Sigma/Advanced Leadership Training desired.

YOUR EDUCATION

Required: BS/BA in a relevant discipline

Preferred: MBA

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE

At least 3 years’ experience in Supply Planning, Master Planning, Production Planning, Buying / Planning and/or Procurement, business solutions architecture to include experience with Supply Collaboration platforms preferably JDE and/or SAP.
