Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Position Overview:
MEDTHERM is seeking a motivated Machinist II to join our Production Team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manufacture and perform quality checks on machined parts, including those made from raw copper and stainless steel, utilizing manual and CNC mill and lathe operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture parts according to detailed drawings using mills and lathes.
- Adhere to drawing procedures to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service departments on new product and process development, documentation, and implementation.
- Plan the sequence of necessary actions for job completion.
- Take measurements and mark materials for cutting.
- Conduct QC checks to ensure output consistency with specifications.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
- Report to the Manufacturing Manager.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of proven experience working in a machine shop as a machinist.
- Proficiency with CNC programs and machine controls.
- Proficient use of manual mills and lathes.
- Ability to perform routine and repetitive machining tasks with discipline.
- Skilled in using precision tools like micrometers and gauges to take accurate measurements.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong mathematical, dimensional tolerance, and analytical abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Safety-conscious mindset.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently walks and occasionally sits. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, including the use of microscopes.
