The SBDC Business Consultant (NSBAA) will specifically work with the Nebraska Small Business Assistance Act (NSBAA) clients. SBDC Business Consultants may also develop and deliver training programs which may be in conjunction with other NBDC consultants, including APEX Accelerator consultants, exporting consultants, technology commercialization consultants, and other NBDC team members or partner organizations. The SBDC Business Consultant promotes NBDC services by speaking at economic development gatherings, service clubs, chambers of commerce, and other community organizations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or in related technical field.
  • Prior successful business ownership or two years prior business consulting experience or other economic development experience.
