Outbound Campaign Agent

Position Summary:

NTI, Inc is an Employment Network hiring on behalf of AmpleHarvest.org - a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit that connects local growers (not farms) to area food pantries. Once connected, these local growers will donate excess food stuffs from to the area food pantries. Bi-annually AmpleHarvest.org reaches out to the food pantries to verify contact information. AmpleHarvest.org currently has over 8000 food pantries it supports.

This is a seasonal, remote position that will need agents to work 25 hours a week for approximately 2 weeks. The agents will make outbound calls via DialPad VoIP platform. Using a spreadsheet supplied by AmpleHarvest.org the Outbound Campaign Agent will make calls to the food pantries and verify the contact information supplied by AmpleHarvest.org. Depending on call results the agent will update the pantry contact information and call status (Pickup/voicemail, contact data changed or unchanged, Call Date, Comments). The goal of the agent is to provide AmpleHarvest.org up-to-date pantry information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Speak with the pantry volunteers using empathy and build rapport
  • Determine if AmpleHarvest.org information is accurate or must be updated
  • Keep meticulous records of information learned or verified during calls
  • Typical hours are 12PM-5PM Eastern, but some flexibility may be necessary to reach all food pantries
  • Wage Rate - $12/hr

Minimum Requirements:

  • Good voice quality/effective communication
  • Good typing skills – 25+ WPM
  • Good attention to detail
  • Possess “Investigative  skills” – Food Pantries have a high turnover rate. The agent must be able to find the right person
  • Be personable and engage the pantry volunteer.
  • This position is NOT available in the following states/districts: AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, HI, IL, MA, MD, ME, MO, NJ, NY, OR, RI, VT, WA, US Territories or outside of the United States.
