We have an exciting opportunity for an HR GENERALIST at our PROVIDENCE, RI location.
Responsibilities
- Perform all manner of HR activities, including but not limited to – benefits administration, HR recordkeeping, wellness programs, leave management, recruiting, onboarding, compensation, employee relations, performance management, training and development, policies and procedures, employee engagement and compliance.
- Respond to employee inquiries and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Coordinate with our HSEQ Manager to ensure a safe work environment, track injuries, compile OSHA records and coordinate worker's compensation programs.
- Promote employee engagement and motivation activities to sustain a high performing and satisfied work force and to support a top notch work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or HR certification required.
- 2 to 3 years' of HR generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication, organization and analytic skills.
- Knowledge of state and federal labor and leave laws.
- Superior technical skills, including with Excel; ADP experience is highly desired.
