SALARY: $38,516 - $67,404
The Challenge
We are looking for an experienced HiCams Engineering Technician II to join our Whittier Construction Engineering team.
In this role, you will:

- Ensure all HICAMS functions are in compliance with contract agreements, standards, and specifications.
- Perform a wide variety of standardized and non-standardized assignments in compiling, analyzing, computing, editing, and processing field data.
- Apply your engineering decision-making and use of good judgement.
- Perform a full range of calculations and computations.
- Maintain records.
What You Bring
-
- Experience working in a team environment to complete assignments.
- Experience analyzing and interpreting highway construction plans.
- Experience planning, developing, scheduling, tracking, and completing projects independently or with limited supervision.
- Computer experience, including Microsoft Office and drafting software.
- Working knowledge of computer equipment (iPads, desktop), software (HICAMS and SharePoint), and math functions.
Education & Experience
-
- Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Survey Technology, or a related field, and
- 2+ years relevant technician-level experience; or
- An equivalent combination of training and experience.
