Where you fit:

This high impact position is part of our Finance and Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team of billings and collections analysts. The candidate should be able to work independently and collectively within the Finance organization as well as with members of the Sales, Services & Product teams and external customers. This role is responsible for timely customer billing and collections and helping our fast-growing Company streamline and continuously improve our processes across multiple product lines and businesses.

 

This position is a hybrid role based in American Fork, UT.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hire, train, coach and set goals and objectives for staff
  • Ensure monthly invoicing and revenue recognition is completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Work with the Services team to process monthly professional services and implementation billings
  • Manage 3rd party pass-through and transactional billing
  • Timely completion of the month-end close
  • Assist with determining impact of contract terms on revenue recognition and accounting requirements and communicate status and issues accordingly
  • Manage the Credit Memo process to assure it is processed in an auditable and timely manner
  • Report the Billings team's activity and KPI's to senior management
  • Work closely with Order Management, Services, and the Collections team to resolve customer issues
  • Complete ad-hoc reports and projects, as required, including aiding in system implementation
  • Manage Accounts Receivable email inquiries
  • Oversight of collections tool and continuous improvements to collections process
  • Present and own weekly view of overdue invoices and customer status to company executives
  • Manage bad debt provision and propose updates to allowance for doubtful accounts
  • Support the annual audit
  • Maintain general awareness of Springbrook security and privacy policies
  • Report any security incident or suspected security incident to the Springbrook Incident Response Team

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; or relevant finance and accounting experience
  • Experience managing/coaching staff members
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including managing billing and collections
  • Experience with the contracting process and interacting with customers on collection initiatives
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks with exceptional attention to detail and analytical and communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA preferred
  • Sage Intacct, Microsoft, and Salesforce.com proficiency
  • System expertise in ERP integrations, including set up and onboarding of new products and/or lines of business
  • Knowledge of ASC606 revenue recognition, GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley
