Position Summary
RBCI is seeking an Application Systems Analyst to assist with our LogiCole contract. This position supports the Fort Detrick, MD location.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with the developers to design, develop, and implement custom programs, reports, enhancements, and interfaces in line with medical logistics business requirements.
- Collaborate with business users and other SAP technical staff to design innovative use cases,provide whiteboarding, implement and execute upon the requirements of the business through
testing, documentation and functions related to the implementation of the LogiCole program. - Understand and refine technical specifications.
- Assist and work with stakeholders and technical staff to implement data migration programs to ensure the smooth transition of data between all systems.
- Ensure seamless integration between LogiCole and external applications.
- Work with developers to optimize existing programs to enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Develop applications to meet business unique needs.
- Determine specific business input requirements required to operate an application, as part of the "design" phase
- Conduct code reviews and implement best practices to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
- Define the output or "to be" state of application that produces users' business processes.
- Perform thorough tests of various unit, end-to-end training prior to approval for production.
- Work with peers to provide selection input on hardware and software needs to be most resourceful with solution.
- Provide complete documentation on workflows of solutions (diagrams.)
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues.
- Ensure that data is secure and that all security controls are in place when designing solution.
- Work with developer on changes to help maximize user productivity and respond to changing org needs.
- Provide support for all stakeholders who might be experiencing challenges or pain points
- Ensure that training is completed and documented for the solution.
- Analyze and resolve issues related to custom developments, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including other functional analysts, SAP consultants, and end-users, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Participate in project meetings, providing functional and sometimes technical expertise and insights.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years' experience as an Application System Analyst
- Experience with large scale agile approaches such as SAFe.
- Strong understanding of business processes innovation, re-engineering.
- Proficiency in analytical tools, techniques, and testing tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies
- A+, Network+ or Security+ Certification (must have, or able to get within 30 days)
- Must be a U.S citizen and have the ability to obtain a clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of JIRA, SAP and other business programs is a plus.
