As a Sales Representative for Kitchen Guard, you will need to be passionate, resilient, goal oriented, and optimistic. With the innate duality of the position, it will not only involve outside sales activities that expand our client base and promote our comprehensive fire and life safety solutions. You will also play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals and properties by providing expert advice and consultation on fire and life safety matters, via on-site inspections that you will perform in their kitchens and on their roofs. This job also offers a competitive commission structure, featuring incremental increases based on achieving specified targets. It's highly achievable to earn up to $60,000 annually on commission, with no cap!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the target market.
  • Conduct on-site inspections on restaurant’s roofs and in their kitchens, to assess the client’s needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase our fire and life safety solutions.
  • Develop proposals outlining recommended safety solutions, including cost estimates and timelines.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations to clients, addressing their specific safety needs.
  • Set and meet sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their fire safety needs are met with tailored solutions.
  • Conduct regular check-ins to assess client satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Demonstrate a keen understanding of fire and life safety systems.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements to provide informed consultations.
  • Ensure the safety and efficient installation and maintenance of fire safety equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing safety training to maintain a high level of awareness and preparedness.
  • Problem solves on-site challenges and make recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Aggressive sales personality.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales.
  • Restaurant or hood cleaning background preferred - we will provide training for a candidate with the right personality.
  • Ability to attend one (1) week training in San Diego upon hire.
  • Ability to work with flexible hours, attending one meeting per week in Brighton.
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in dealing with various work environments, including grease or dirty rooftops.
  • Effective time management skills to balance multiple client accounts and tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail in conducting inspections, preparing reports, and recommending solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner to clients.
  • Ability to contribute positively to a team-oriented work environment.
  • Ability to adapt to and learn new technologies as required.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional networks within the industry.
  • Ability to maintain hours beyond the typical 9-5, in order to accommodate our clients and their business hours

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual Highly Preferred
  • Veterans are Encouraged to Apply
  • Experience in commercial facility services or related fields preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Relevant certifications in fire and life safety or B2B sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science, Safety Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work comfortably at heights and on roof tops – position is not entirely outside, but a portion of it is, and it is vital to the position.
  • Physically fit, capable of lifting 40+ pounds and using A-frame ladders.
