Position Summary
RBCI is seeking a Business Architect to provide the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Affairs Acquisition Academy (VAAA) with program management services and data analytics. This work is onsite at the VAAA in Frederick, Maryland. Some travel to various VA sites may be required.
This position is contingent upon contract award.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs tasks which structure the enterprise in terms of its governance structure, business processes, and business information.
- Aligns strategic goals and objectives with decisions regarding products and services, partners and suppliers, organization, capabilities, and key business and IT initiatives.
- Develops a business architecture strategy based on a situational awareness of various business scenarios and motivations.
- Applies a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the enterprise.
- Captures the tactical and strategic enterprise goals that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance.
- Defines a set of strategic, core and support processes that transcend functional and organizational boundaries.
- Identifies external entities such as customers, suppliers, and external systems that interact with the business and describing which people, resources and controls are involved in the processes.
- Captures the relationships among roles, capabilities and business units, the decomposition of those business units into subunits, and the internal or external management of those units.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience with analyzing and documenting business value streams, capabilities, processes, and data using model-based representations for the purpose of collecting, aggregating, or analyzing complex business information.
- Excellent analytical and proven problem-solving skills.
- Ability to absorb information from multiple sources and produce clear, accurate and concise communications.
- Proficient in Office 365 suite of programs to include SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies with experience in both Classic and Agile (scaled) methodologies
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance.
