The role:
Join our team as a Business Relationship Manager! In this frontline technology management role, you will oversee and direct the work of information technology (IT) staff and provide technical guidance for application development as well as third-party system solutions. A day in the life:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- Supervise a team developing applications, oversee IT solution delivery and support efforts within the program.
- Develop and maintain application systems according to established industry best practices for development, security and resilience.
- Communicate updates on maintenance progress, projects, scheduled updates and other activities to upper management.
- Oversee, assist and facilitate IT projects, maintenance and operations work within the program.
- Collaborate with partners to create plans that describe the current state of the technology portfolios.
- Monitor, analyze and disburse program resources to meet changing IT service needs.
- Guide and administer IT procurements and IT contracts for program areas.
- Perform supervisory functions for overseeing the application development group.
- Stay informed about industry technology trends and advocate for adopting new technology to enhance business operations.
- Hybrid work options available –currently in office once a quarter but may be more for business needs.

Minimum qualifications:
Six (6) years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience;
OR
Three (3) years of related experience AND a bachelor's degree in a related field.

- Formal management experience in managing a team of IT staff.
- Demonstrated experience in application development and IT project delivery leadership.
- Demonstrated experience in both custom application development solutions and vendor system implementations.
- Demonstrated experience building partnerships with internal and external partners and communicating to management on current projects.
- A proven track record of leading and facilitating an IT maintenance team in support of an enterprise application portfolio.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate teams, effectively manage projects and resources and possess strong conflict resolution abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in system development methodologies and best practices for projects, maintenance and operations.
