The Computer Scientist I provides computer science support to the Software Airworthiness Division at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Provide software analysis, design and implementation for applications related to weapon system sustainment.
• Provide mentorship to undergraduate and entry level computer scientists.

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 0 - 12 months of directly related full-time verifiable work experience.
• Experience in support of the Software Airworthiness Division.
• Experience with C, C++, Java, C#, JavaScript/CSS/HTML, Assembly, Go, Haskell, Python, BASIC, SQL.
• Excellent communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship is required

Desired Qualifications
• Minimum of 6+ months of directly related full-time work experience.
• Experience in support of the Software Airworthiness Division.
• Knowledge of data science methods.

Salary: $51,304 - $58,000
