SUMMARY

Civic Media is looking for a versatile Digital Campaign Strategist with technical expertise, creativity, and a data-driven mindset. The Digital Campaign Strategist will lead the digital sales efforts by overseeing all digital sales activities, including crafting strategies to boost online sales, managing and nurturing client relationships, and optimizing the digital sales funnel. This mid-level position will report to the VP of Sales and Director of Marketing and will work closely and collaboratively with the sales, marketing solutions, and product teams.

This role requires a dynamic individual adept at leveraging technology to achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital advertising sales, project management, and data analytics. A strong background in digital marketing and a passion for creating customer centric digital experiences is key.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement and execute digital marketing campaigns on behalf of clients and Civic Media
  • Develop and execute digital sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals
  • Monitor and optimize CRM systems to streamline the sales process
  • Analyze digital sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth
  • Collaborate with marketing to align sales strategies with digital campaigns
  • Assist and recommend training for our team of digital sales representatives
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and campaign budgets, providing insights and recommendation
  • Research, track, and analyze consumer behaviors and trends and implement research into digital marketing campaigns
  • Prepare reports and analytics on the overall performance of various marketing campaigns, including ROIs and KPIs
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies and marketing techniques
  • Identify, analyze, and measure trends and content to assess how well it’s performing and optimize user experience

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCES

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and sales technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other departments
  • In-depth knowledge of various platforms and best practices
  • Experience with keyword research and website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
  • Ability to analyze consumer metrics, reports, and current digital trends
  • Strong project management and managerial skills
  • Should be a results-driven and self-starting problem-solver with an ability to collaborate across personalities and teams.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience required; degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in digital sales or a similar role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets using digital channels
  • Strong communication, organization, and persuasion skills
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working in a multichannel media organization
  • Team leadership experience
  • Track record working in a growing and dynamic organization
  • Demonstrated skills in the successful completion of multiple, simultaneous and rapidly emergent tasks
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with management, business units, vendors, suppliers and customers
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
