Description

The Director of Healthcare Partnerships is responsible for assisting with the MCO, Managed Medi-Cal, OAA, CBO, managing the implementation of new managed care customers and growing existing MCO, Managed Medi-Cal, OAA, CBO account market share. Should be able to communicate the critical importance of "food as medicine" in reducing health care costs to this high-risk population and increasing member/patient health outcomes with an emphasis on growing our CalAIM Community Supports programs.

Essential Duties

  • Ability to present GA Foods products and services to a variety of audiences including managed care organizations as well as case managers, social workers, physicians, nurses, community-based organizations and dietitians.
  • Builds a cohesive experience for MCO, Managed Medi-Cal, OAA, CBO customers from signed contract to services rendered
  • Projects and tracks existing account revenue growth
  • Drive engagement with CalAIM Community Supports programs by developing and fostering relationships with external partners to support CalAIM growth
  • Analyzes data to look for process improvements to drive revenue growth
  • Provides day-to-day management and support of sales teams
  • Provides support to sales, leadership, account management & implementation, case management and customer service
  • Advises, consults, and makes recommendations to the company on growth strategy
  • Ability to organize data for communication (internally and externally)
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with internal and external partners to meet deadlines
  • Represents the company in its relationships with MCOs and CBOs
  • Prepared to become the subject matter expert on membership analysis and trends that will drive existing customer revenue growth within CalAIM Community Supports

Preferred Skills, Degree & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience
  • Five to ten years in healthcare services, client services preferred
  • Proven track record serving managed care organizations through client services
  • Very familiar with healthcare or MCO terminology, departments, organizational structure and roles
  • Able to apply strategic, critical and analytic thinking skills to facilitate existing customer revenue growth as well as resolution to client issues and requests
  • Strongly comfortable with preparing analysis without oversight to communicate with and/or present to any level of employee (c-suite, clinical, both nurse & physicians, credentialing, quality, and IT staff)
  • Ability to communicate information clearly using standard Microsoft applications: Outlook, Teams, Power BI, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • High energy & desire to serve those in our community Organized and project management oriented
  • Knowledge of CalAIM Community Supports benefits/services
  • Good driving record and insurability
  • This is a remote position that requires willingness to travel 30% - 50% within California -- infrequent national trips

Physical Requirements:

  • Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods
