Job Summary: In this role, the Director of Telecom Services oversees the delivery team of contracted telecom managed services. This includes setting the policies, standards and best practices for wireline audits, optimization, ordering, inventory builds, inventory audits, and contract negotiation. This person will also fill a strategic role within the business, helping drive the strategic vision of the services provided and the potential relationships in the fixed telecom industry.  

 

Essential Functions / Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Provide market expertise in consultation of clients and internal stakeholders regarding wirelines/fixed product needs and consumption patterns of enterprises.
  • Provide visionary alignment and strategy feedback to the brightfin Fixed Product Owner.
  • Act as the escalation point of contact for strategic fixed line clients.
  • Act as the liaison between the client delivery organization, clients’ requests, and the product management organization to inform fixed product development prioritization.
  • Define best practices for internal fixed data standards, operations practices, and delivery outcomes.
  • Approve final mapping of fixed data feeds from providers.
  • Provide client consultation and support for service inquiries.
  • Define fixed offering capabilities, define contracts, and maintain 3rd party delivery relationships.
  • Provide fixed/wireline product training and education to the organization. Document, approve, and maintain the LMS library of training courses in collaboration with the VP of Client Delivery.
  • Assist in mediation efforts alongside Client Delivery team for client escalations for wireline/fixed solutions.
  • Operational governance and strategic account support.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees per company policy.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent relative industry experience.
  • 10+ years of fixed telecom audit, dispute management, optimization, ordering, and inventory builds for enterprise organizations.

  • Experience with ServiceNow is preferred, but not required.

 

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

 

Travel: up to 25%

 

Location: Remote, US-based

  • Compensation Range: $135,000 - $140,000 per year, plus annual bonus eligibility
