Description
A successful Electromechanical Assembler / Assembler 1 will strive for excellence in assembly. The Assembler 1 will support our business success. Qualifications, Education and Experience requirements:
- 1+Years of Experience in electrical and mechanical assemblies
- Proven experience as an assembler
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to use power tools, hand tools, torque wrenches, and follow product specifications
- Lifting items up to 35-lbs
- Ability to use and understand metric/standard tape measure
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for assembling mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies that involve assembly of components, wires, belts, pulleys, and circuit boards in accordance with work instructions
- Responsible for ensuring all parts are fitted and secured properly
- Responsible for ensuring correct hardware/items are being used when assembling components
- Safety conscious with extreme respect for company safety rules and guidelines
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Long periods of sitting and/or standing will be required.
- Energetic, ambitious, and hard working with a strong technical aptitude.
- Be a team player and contributor in shop, Show mutual respect for coworkers
- Show up to work every day and on time
- Willing to work overtime when required
- Ensure tasks are executed in the most effective manner in regard to time, cost, and function.
- Take direction and learn under Lead Technician.
- Strive for ongoing self-improvement through additional training.
- Other duties as assigned by direct manager
Working Conditions:
