Position Summary

We are seeking an Executive Assistant who is exceptionally tech-savvy, highly proficient in social media, and knowledgeable about government contracting. This role requires a proactive, highly organized individual who can effectively manage communications and coordinate projects with different companies, directly under the President/CEO. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing the executive's productivity and the firm's operational efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to the President/CEO, including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; composing and preparing correspondence; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for meetings.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the President/CEO and internal/external clients.
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality in relationships with all board members, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Use social media platforms to enhance the President/CEO's visibility and firm's branding efforts.
  • Develop and implement systems to streamline interactions with technology, including managing email and social media accounts.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external meetings.
  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare papers for consideration and presentation by executives, committees, and boards of directors.
  • Assist in overseeing projects, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in the context of government contracting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communication, or related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably within a consulting firm or in a government contracting environment.
  • Strong understanding of social media management and digital communication strategies.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
  • Advanced proficiency with office productivity software, including Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and social media tools.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, external partners, and clients.
  • Knowledgeable about the procedures and compliance requirements specific to government contracting.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response.
