FACILITY PROJECT MANAGER

Responsible for assisting with the coordination of facility projects and activities. Also performs a multitude of tasks based on management direction including but not limited to the following: Provide project management on various facility projects, administration of facility work order system, coordinate various equipment installations, assist in facility space planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist facilities management and operations personnel in the evaluation and planning of facility and project needs.
- Assist with long-term strategic planning for equipment replacement and facility upgrades.
- Provide project management for various facility projects. Including developing schematic plans, working with A/E firms to develop construction documents, overseeing construction and final commissioning.
- Assist in management of facility work order system and ensure all work orders are assigned and completed on schedule. Update facility floor plans in Autocad and import into facility data base.
- Document and monitor utility usage. Recommend facility improvements for increased energy management. Work with consultant on power purchase agreements.
- Ensure best building practices are followed throughout the facilities.
- Maintain quality control documentation and procedures.
- Perform other duties as appropriate or as requested.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly or frequently sitting, talking, hearing, grasping, touching, standing, walking, reaching with hands/arms and performing repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movements.
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds of force.
- Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less, 20 feet or more, ability to identify and distinguish colors, ability to see up and down or right or left while fixed on a point to watch parking spaces, security door, check badges for clearance color, read fine print in telephone directory, etc.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
- Basic math (add, subtract, multiply, and divide working with decimals and monetary units) and intermediate language, writing and reading skills.
Work Environment:
- Moderate noise level (i.e. computers, printers, etc.). May experience moderate to loud noise level if an assignment is conducted in High Bay area.
- Indoor temperature-controlled office environment.
- May be safety sensitive if required to work an assignment in the High Bay area where PPE is required.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
- BA/BS in Engineering, or related academic field plus 4-6 years directly related experience.
