The Park Forest Fire Department is currently conducting a new firefighter paramedic recruitment to establish a three-year eligibility list.

Residency requirement:

No village residency required.

Minimum Requirements (at the time of hire):

Be a US Citizen
Be a high school graduate or equivalent
Have a valid driver's license
Hold a Illinois Licensed Emergency Medical Technician certificate for Paramedic
Hold a valid CPAT card with ladder climb endorsement within 1 year preceding employment date
Have the ability to pass a background check, physical and psychological test
Be age 21-34 at the time of the application deadline
