Job Description: As a Fleet Recon Technician, you'll play a crucial role in our mission to provide high quality repairs and be part of a team of technicians who enjoy the rewards of removing large damage from fleet vehicles. You'll master the specialized craft of Glue Pull Repair (GPR) with training and certification from The Ding King Training Institute, working alongside passionate and driven team members to make a meaningful impact within our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of fleet vehicles to identify necessary reconditioning services.
- Learn, master, and continue to develop your skills in Glue Pull Repair and state of the art automotive appearance skills.
- Perform cleaning and detailing of vehicle exteriors to ensure they meet company standards.
- Carry out high quality repairs, including removing large damage, and automotive appearance work.
- Ensure all reconditioning activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of reconditioning tasks.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and customers regarding the status and condition of vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in automotive repair or detailing is a plus.
- Required completion of the 12-Week training with the Ding King Training Institute.
- Willingness to learn automotive appearance and reconditioning techniques.
- Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
