Location(s): Fort Meade, MD
Job Summary: Supports office administrative functions for a large office of professional staff.
Responsibilities:
- Greets/welcomes visitors, assists with badging, and directs individuals to meetings.
- Ensure that all visitors are appropriately badged and signed into visitor log.
- Assists with planning and coordinating office-wide processes such as facilities maintenance, space planning, moves, equipment installations, and other events or projects with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitors inventory and places orders for office equipment, supplies, or provisions.
- Handles incoming and outgoing mail (USPS, UPS, FedEx).
- Communicates needs and guides janitorial staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years administrative support experience.
- Sound judgment capability and discretion with confidential information.
- Problem solving capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Self-starter, organize assignments, prioritize tasks and complete projects on time.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail required.
- Must be team player.
Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
- 2-year or 4-year college degree is preferred.
- Active Secret or Top-Secret security clearance.
Special Requirements/Security Clearance:
- Ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance.
Other Requirements:
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to maintain a Top-Secret security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.
