Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP (WRA) is a full-service, multi-disciplinary engineering, architectural, and environmental consulting firm that provides planning, design, and construction management services.  With a professional and technical staff of over 750, the firm’s services are focused on the needs of governmental, educational, institutional, and private sector clients.

We are currently seeking a civil engineering student for highway engineering Internship in our Baltimore, MD office.  Our Highway Design group is responsible for design of a variety of transportation facilities, including design of highways, pedestrian facilities, bicycle facilities, and transit improvements.

Requirements:

  • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from an accredited institution.
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate orally/written at all levels of the organization.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple assignments.
  • Experience with design software tools such as MicroStation, OpenRoads and AutoCAD preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
