Information Systems Specialist

Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm | $65,000 - $71,005 per year

Based on a thorough understanding of the unit’s academic, administrative and research goals, the incumbent shares responsibility for determining the strategic direction for the units s/he supports. This includes:

• Researching new technologies as it relates to AV and signage
• Organizing and/or participating in research and testing of new technologies
• Analyzing new technologies and potential benefit (process and financial), integration issues and risks
• Assisting with the development of proposals for pilot projects, upgrades and/or the purchase of new software, hardware and/or networking
• Assisting with implementation plans and designs of AV technology
• Assisting with the maintenance of technology

Minimum Qualifications:

• College level coursework in IT or closely related field.
• One year of experience in an IT or A/V focused role
