Description
The Interoperability Scientist provides integration of aviation components special system solutions for evolutions of UAS products to specific customer requirements.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Lead for integration projects of aviation components with software enterprise and cloud-based solutions for a lab
• Lead for integration of aviation components special system solutions for evolutions of UAS products to specific customer requirements
• Develop and Maintain integration software and hardware
• Maintain the configuration of integration software and hardware
• Conduct program and technical interchange meetings
• Conduct customer technical interchange meetings
• Conduct hands on integration, interoperability and functional testing
• Conduct demonstration for customers
Minimum Requirements
• Ph.D. - preferably in Science or Engineering with 10 - 11 years of full-time verifiable work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelor's or Master's degree required).
• Familiar with Aviation and Aerospace integration and interoperability requirements especially evolving UAS requirements.
• Ability to develop and integrate software in the accomplishment of Aviation and Aerospace requirements.
• Experience in Cloud and Internet of Things (IoT) development, integration and operations.
• Computer Programming Languages.
• U.S. citizenship required.
Desired Qualifications
• Experience in an engineering, scientific or aviation management field , UAS pilot supporting disaster and in theater operations environments.
Salary: $195,297 - $221,974
