Description

Job Summary: Cole Engineering Services is seeking a highly motivated candidate to support logistics management activities for an emerging simulation and training capability for the United States Army. The candidate will manage equipment and assets slated for fielding to US military installations worldwide.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage project assets utilizing corporate asset tools leading to project deliveries.
  • Develops and maintains process to track fielded equipment operational status to include spared equipment associated with program.
  • Takes charge of inventory management and able to deliver on-time updates to equipment functionality and whereabouts.
  • Provide inputs to asset management processes for enhancements to support project specific needs.
  • Contributes to the development of organizational goals and procedures.
  • Supports technical documentation compiling, writing, editing, and or coordination as required. Provides guidance and direction in the areas of quality, coverage, format, and style.
  • Performs effectively with limited supervision and is able to resolve complex problems with limited or no assistance.
  • Work with Logistics Software Databases conducting Inventory and onsite documentation verification.
  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • 20% out-of-state Travel Required / 30% required to travel to secondary corporate location within Orlando region.

Knowledge in any of the following areas would be considered a plus:

  • Experience with Military Industry MIL-STD-40051-2 Technical Manual development, Repair Parts Special Tools List (RPSTL) and development tools and documentation. Experience working with Military CDRLs, DIDs and MIL-HDBK standards.
  • Experience with the following software/hardware development, collaboration tools, and process. (JIRA, Confluence, Agile/Scrum)
  • Experience with inventory management processes and procedures.
  • Overall Department of Defense standards for property accountability procedures, transactions, and processes.
  • Experience with military sustainment operations and processes at the brigade-level.
  • Familiarization with US Army Logistic / Sustainment staff section (S4) functions.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred, but not required.
  • 3 to 5 years of logistics or technical experience
  • MS Office proficient
  • Team player
  • Agile mindset

Other Requirements:

Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a secret security clearance.

Some travel may be required.

This is an in-office position with ability for intermittent remote work.
