Description
PJ Dick, Inc., the premier regional general contractor and commercial construction manager, is looking for an MEP Estimator/Coordinator to join its team in the Pittsburgh region.

What the Role Involves:
- Provide administrative and technical responsibilities for the MEP portion of selected projects. Prepare MEP Budgets, Scopes and Estimates for both preconstruction efforts and hard bids.
- Assist preconstruction manager and Project Manager in pre-award interviews as requested.
- Assist preconstruction team in preparing MEP budgets for negotiated work and work with MEP subcontractors to solicit and scope MEP bids for price competitive pursuits.
- Advise on plumbing, piping, HVAC, fire protection, temperature control and electrical and low voltage integrated systems.
- Write MEP bid packages.
- Conduct pre-award meetings or assist Project Managers in pre-award meetings.
- Provide budget review and value analysis.
- Provide constructability reviews and recommendations.
- Analyze scheduling and provide review and updates.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
Educational and experience requirements include: four-year degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience. Two to five years estimating, controls, and/or engineering experience related to MEP construction.
