Description
Position: Intermediate Management Information Systems Analyst / Business Intelligence Developer
Location: Huntsville, AL
Clearance: Must currently have, or be able to obtain an active Secret Clearance
Responsibilities:
- Provide business intelligence development support for database sources (MS Access). Ability to customize databases as needs and metric change. Knowledge and skills of MS TEAMS Power Apps
- Use existing data sources to develop reports, dashboards, and metrics in support of Facility Life-Cycle Management
- Create data connections and publish user-created reports, spreadsheets /visualizations/dashboards
- Establish and maintain account security rules and access control rights to visualizations/dashboards, data connections, data files, and system objects for users and developers
- Provide technical guidance to users regarding how to best utilize and develop data visualizations based on best practices, in order to meet mission requirements
- Ability to train end users on use of database applications to input and maintain real property data, newly available training materials, system performance issues, and new software capabilities
- Ensure compliance with governance policies, information architecture and other organizational policies
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Applicants selected must hold or be able to successfully complete a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- BA/BS degree with 7 years relevant experience in Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Management Systems or Computer Science preferred. (Masters Degree may be substituted for 3 years of relevant experience)
- Capable of executing analytical tasks, utilizing both analytical techniques, and processes for complex developmental and operational programs
- Experience leveraging Microsoft technologies, such as TEAMS, Power Apps, C#, SharePoint, or SQL Servers to improve business processes and practices
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully collaborate with team members
