New Business Development – Account Executive

General Job Description:

Weigel Broadcasting Co. local home of The U (WCIU), U Too (WMEU), MeTV (WWME), MeTV FM WRME Radio 87.7, and WIN Digital Chicago, seeks a highly motivated, creative and ambitious new business development seller with a proven track record, specifically focused on developing TV, as well as Radio and Digital business.

Duties/Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will focus on new business development for our multiple platforms of TV, Radio and Digital.

Consistent lead generation and ability to connect with potential clients.

Excel in new business development and in generating new dollars.

Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

Track record of new business development across multiple platforms.

Strong written, verbal, negotiation and communication skills.

High energy and passion for the job

Previous television, radio, cable, and/or digital sales experience required.

Bachelor's degree is preferred

Strong understanding of lead generation and account management

Wide Orbit and FreeWheel experience preferred

Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet/Intranet)
