Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age and less than 35 years of age on March 11, 2025 (posting date of final list) per State Statute. Exceptions listed in 65 ILCS 5/10 2.1-6 shall apply.
Uncorrected vision of at least 20/100 in each eye, correctable to 20/20 & good color vision. If vision is corrected to 20/20 both eyes together with soft contact lenses, there is no minimum uncorrected visual acuity requirement.
High school degree or equivalent.
Must attend a mandatory orientation/written examination on:
