PRINCIPAL STRATEGIC ENGAGEMENTS ANALYST

Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), a leading provider of energy, sustainability, and climate consulting services to the federal government, is seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate to take the lead in developing and implementing strategic initiatives in support of critical organizational programs for a senior Air Force client. A successful candidate will enjoy leading small project teams across the infrastructure, environmental and energy portfolios to ensure priorities, messages, and engagements help achieve strategic objectives. Some travel may be required with this position. Candidates must already have at least a Secret clearance. This is a hybrid position located in the Washington, D.C area split between working on client site with the flexibility to work from home or CTC's Crystal City office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team 4-5 people focused on providing cross-functional support across multiple portfolios.
- Serve in a primary client interface role and collaborate with the broader SAF/IEE and SAF/IE team to effectively communicate DAS messaging and intent.
- Identify, plan, and propose long-term strategies for internal and external interactions, Congressional engagements, and DAS communications to ensure strategic messages are consistent.
- Assist with the development and implementation of strategic priorities in alignment with DAF, DoD, Congressional, and Administration goals/requirements.
- Track DAF and SAF/IEE funding during the Congressional appropriations process and internal DAF budget development.
- Maintain awareness of relevant Congressional activities and member interests as they relate to the client portfolio.
- Mentor junior staff to help them achieve and advance.
- Maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
- Leverage team capabilities to develop and expand team growth.
Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in engineering, science, public policy, management, or related discipline with at least ten (10) years of relevant experience.
- Experience with advising senior clients and stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with ability to produce high-quality results.
- Ability to manage schedule and workload to successfully deliver on multiple projects simultaneously
- Capacity to collaborate in a team setting and work independently to meet objectives
- Proven experience in federal installation, environmental, and energy issues.
- Knowledge of the missions, roles, functions, organizational structures, and relationships of Congress, the Department of the Air Force and other DoD organizations.
- Strong communication skills, written and oral, supported by inter-personal skills that support being a liaison between organizations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Defense appropriations and authorization committees or government consulting.
- Knowledge of Air Force task management procedures and systems.
- Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, problem-solving, and client service skills.
