Description

Are you a numbers-driven professional with a knack for financial reporting and property accounting? Join our team as a Property Accountant, where you'll play a key role in managing financial statements, budgeting, and reconciliation for our commercial real estate portfolio.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and analyze property financial reports, ensuring accuracy for monthly financial review meetings.
  • Maintain PPE files and complete year-end financial packets before deadlines.
  • Oversee annual budget preparation and ensure correct data entry in Yardi.
  • Work closely with the facilities team to align expenses with budgets.
  • Record journal entries for commissions, taxes, insurance, and other key expenses.
  • Manage TICAM invoicing, utility reimbursements, and investor reporting.
  • Reconcile monthly bank accounts and manage fund transfers per budget requirements.
  • Support software upgrades related to accounting processes.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management.
  • Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

While performing the duties of this job:

  • May require travel up to 10% to sites beyond the corporate office.
  • Perform sedentary work – exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Able to operate standard office/computer equipment.
