SUMMARY

This position is tasked to develop and maintain close working relationships with assigned dealer groups. The Senior Dealer Project Specialist position functions as a liaison between the dealer and internal departments to optimize Kewaunee’s ability to provide quality products within project expectations and timelines. The Senior Dealer Project Specialist will be a key contact for communication with dealer representatives, installation, and end users regarding any order-related item. Responsibilities will include reporting, issue resolution, and serving as a resource for general information on Kewaunee products, policies, processes, and procedures. In this role, the Senior Dealer Project Specialist will assist in providing resolution to order concerns during all internal phases including order entry, engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and shipping.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  •  Serve as an advocate to provide the best service for our dealers and their representatives.
  • Attends / Assists with weekly calls with Sales Agencies to go over Reservation Due and Active Order Report (AOR) and provide needed updates.
  • Collaborate and engage with estimating, order entry, drafting and engineering Associates to proactively resolve order questions prior to release.
  • Works closely with the Dealer Operations Manager on high profile and sensitive orders to ensure successful execution.
  • Ensure assigned orders are scheduled to meet specific commitments relayed by the dealer.
  • Communicate with the manufacturing and purchasing Associates to expedite orders and escalate as needed
  • Represent the organization for installation and construction site questions and ensure that updates are provided. Serve as the key contact during all phases of a project and act as a liaison for our internal operations (manufacturing, technical engineering, marketing) for any assistance or questions.
  • Communicate with the KSC Distribution and customer representatives during the shipping phase of a project to provide coordination of activity and provide shipping updates and reports.
  • Assist with issues with orders by researching the origin and initiation resolution. This will include processing replacement orders, assigning proper reason codes, initiating the process for fulfillment through order entry for completion, and following up through shipment to ensure customer satisfaction. Provide mid-level approval for issues resolved by other team members.
  • Maintain files and follow-up processes to efficiently and proactively coordinate orders for assigned dealers and provide audit documentation for review.
  • Investigate back charges from the field, assigning reason codes and/or recommending resolutions for management approval.
  • Assist the credit and finance Associates in resolving obstacles that are prohibiting full invoiced amount of invoices
