Salary: $6,679 - $10,092 (Per month)

We are looking for a senior business systems analyst to become an essential part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between our technical team and various business areas, focusing on implementing innovative business solutions that enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness. Hybrid remote work options available! Most of this work may be conducted remotely at an alternate worksite with a private workspace, broadband internet connection and full access to the needed operating systems and technology. However, there are times when the work will be required to be performed at the Salem office building. To be considered, you must be able to go into the Salem office on short notice for business needs and be within a reasonable commuting distance if hired since travel expenses to the office are not reimbursed.

A day in the life:
- Create detailed documents including process flows, design specs, wireframes, acceptance criteria, user stories, and procedures.
- Conduct interviews and analyzes products to gather user requirements through various methods, ensuring accurate documentation of business needs.
- Partner on system enhancements, optimizations and integrations to support business objectives.
- Support, track and manage changes to requirements, ensuring proper documentation, communication and traceability of updates.
- Develop, execute and maintain test plans, scripts, use cases and test reports.
- Consult and train internal and external partners in navigating system changes and enhancements.
- Provide support to help users and system administrators troubleshoot applications and resolve issues.
- Facilitate communication between IT and business partners to ensure successful solutions.
- Prepare and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders to support decision-making.
- Generate reports and dashboards to communicate key performance indicators and project progress.
- Perform a diverse range of duties in the planning and implementation of technology solutions for business processes.
- Work in an office environment 1-2 days a month depending on business needs with hybrid work options available - Some travel may be required.

Minimum qualifications:
Six (6) years of experience in information systems as an analyst, specifically in software or business system analysis;
OR
An associate's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field AND four (4) years of experience in information systems as an analyst, specifically in software or business system analysis;
OR
A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field AND two (2) years of experience in information systems as an analyst, specifically in business software or system analysis;
OR
Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field may substitute for all of the above.

- Proven experience encompassing all facets of the Software Development Life Cycle, as well as configuration, change and release management principles and concepts.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating documentation for business processes, technical specifications and applications intended for both internal use and vendor-supplied software.
- Demonstrated experience in system testing, conducting process walk-throughs and executing system upgrades.
- Demonstrated experience applying business analysis techniques, methodologies and tools to projects.
- Demonstrated experience in communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with partners in both technical and user-friendly language.
