Job Function:
The job of the Stäubli Shipping Clerk is to package orders for customer delivery. Processing orders as nessecary within the provided shipping software and completing safe and adequate packaging for delivery via carrier requirements. Communicate effectively with other teams and departments to provide or request information. Portray an attitude of positivity, exhibiting our company values of Passion, People, Partnership, and Performance.
Reports to:
Warehouse Supervisor, North America
Responsibilities and Objectives:
- Pack orders and outgoing freight properly and in a timely manner.
- Use SAP to ship confirm orders according to procedure.
- Package orders securely and properly for shipment to prevent damage.
- Report any deficiencies in orders per ISO standards.
- Exhibit a continuous level of awareness to maintain order accuracy & minimize mistakes.
- Consolidate and manifest shipments at end of day for pick up.
- Be accountable to perform job requirements as outlined in the ISO work instructions.
- Use pallet jacks, forklifts strapping equipment.
- Perform a verification of part number, quantity, and batch before packing order out to ship.
- Communicate effectively with team on issues or concerns.
- Utilize Microsoft Office to send correspondences to other departments and divisions.
- Complete log information in Microsoft Excel to record accurate information.
Qualifications:
- 1-2+ Years Small pack shipping clerk experience (preferred)
- Forklift and pallet jack experience (required).
- SAP Experience (preferred)
- Experience with FedEx, UPS, and DHL (preferred)
- General computer skills using Microsoft and file organization.
- Be at work on time and prepared to perform at tasks in a timely manner.
- Dress attire appropriate for the workplace. (See Handbook)
- Exercise proper personal hygiene.
- Use professional etiquette when in conversations in person, phone and email.
- Act as a team with all peers to accomplish tasks that may be additional to job description.
- Have an overall good attitude while at work.

Physical Requirements:
- Periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Periods standing, walking, and verbally communicating.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry objects.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
- Dexterity and accuracy as needed to operate equipment.
Work schedule:
- Hourly, Non-Exempt with Standard Operating Hours: M – F, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
- In the event of working required overtime on a non-standard work day (Saturday, Sunday, Holiday), 1-1/2 times the hours worked will be paid.
- Expectation to follow guidelines set forth in the Employee Handbook.
