In this role as a Sr. Administrative Analyst, you will get to support a team by doing a variety of important things. It's all about supporting the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) within the Department of County Management, Central HR with their administrative needs. We're talking about handling financial stuff, helping with contracts, and even diving into creating new HR policies. Plus, this role gets to organize all the fun employee recognition events, like Public Service Recognition Week Recognition Awards and the Employee Service Awards – it's a party planner's dream! Administratively, this position helps with calendaring and email management, office and space management, and overseeing other tasks managed by a team member you’d supervise. Basically, this person is the bridge between the Chief Human Resources Officer and everyone else – department staff, employees, managers, union leaders, the Communication's Office, the Chair's Office, the public, and outside agencies. It's a lot of juggling, but it keeps things running smoothly!

TO QUALIFY:
- Bachelor’s degree. Experience may substitute for a degree (Equivalency 7 years of qualifying training and/or experience).
- Three (3) years of experience performing the essential functions of the position, including but not limited to:
- Providing high level analytical and administrative support to an executive; this includes project coordination and management, budget development, managing deadlines with competing priorities
- providing office support, including managing phone calls, emails, calendars, internal communications, and preparing reports.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, or comparable systems, specifically spreadsheet software such as MS Excel or Google Sheets, is required.
- Proficient in note-taking and summarizing complex information.
- All finalists must pass a criminal records check

Schedule & Hybrid: Monday - Friday; There may be some flexibility with start and end times and will be 2-3 days working on-site. Must be an OR or WA Resident to support hybrid work.
