Job Summary:

The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs for our manufacturing operations. This role requires a deep understanding of CNC programs for our manufacturing operations. This role requires a deep understanding of CNC machinery, G-code programming, and CAD/CAM software. The ideal candidate will work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure efficient and accurate production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and other CNC machines.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to create precise machining instructions.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials.
  • Conduct trial runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and other team members to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Maintain and update program files and documentation.
  • Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CNC programming and machine issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in CNC programming and operation.
  • Proficiency in G-Code programming and CAD/CAM software (e.g., Espirit, Mastercam, Solidworks, Mazak)
  • Proficiency in Esprit Mill and Lathe
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, materials and tooling.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
