Where You Fit:

Springbrook Software is looking for a Technical Data Consultant. This individual contributor will report to the Sales Manager, North America (MAGIQ). The Technical Data Consultant will help ensure that Springbrook (MAGIQ) delivers valuable software by working with our US Partners, their customers, and the Partner Internal teams.

In this role you will collaborate with sales, business leaders, and work cross functionally with Developers, Product Owners, Support, Services and External Stakeholders. To be successful in this role you must demonstrate attention to detail, experience with ERP solutions particularly financial and payroll. You must have strong skills in BI tools and experience writing and managing complex SQL Queries. Impeccable character, integrity, and work ethic are critical for success. Previous experience working in a public sector-centric service organization is preferred.

This position is 100% remote. May require flexibility across time zones (AUS/NZ). Minimal travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on assigned consulting tasks across our best-in-class public sector budgeting solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance to our Partners and internal teams.
  • Providing data analysis through industry tools and reconciliation
  • Work on our continuous improvement by identifying areas for improvement and automation.
  • Adhere to Springbrook company policies and procedures, including security and confidentiality policies.
  • Abide by Springbrook and MAGIQ security and privacy policies
  • Report any security incident or suspected security incident to the Springbrook Incident Response Team.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years in writing and managing complex SQL Queries
  • Bachelor's degree in business or computer science or information technology or an additional 2 years of technical data analysis and conversion experience for SaaS company
  • Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) tools to develop and maintain data collection processes.
  • Experience with different BI Tools.
  • Experience with PowerShell or Linux terminal.
  • Experience with different data sources such as databases, static files, and API's.
  • Experience with various ERP, with an emphasis on financial and payroll. Experience with gather data requirements.
  • Experience with Tracking/Ticketing systems such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Jira or DevOps
  • Work cross functionally with Sales, Engineering, Product, Support and External Partners
  • Meet all assigned deadlines and provide prompt responses to internal and external inquiries.
  • Good problem-solving and time management skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in data analysis
  • Experience working with modern cloud providers such as Azure or AWS.
  • Prior experience working with on-prem and cloud systems.
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning and Power BI.
