Description
First Federal is seeking a Treasury Management Specialist I to join our team. This is an entry-level role within the Treasury Management department, providing technical support, product implementation, and customer service for business banking clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and eager to develop expertise in treasury management products. Located on-site with our team at our corporate headquarters in McMinnville, Oregon, this is not a remote position.

Key Responsibilities
Treasury Management Support
- Provide customer service and technical support for treasury management products, including business online banking, ACH, remote deposit capture, positive pay, and wire transfer services.
- Assist with product implementation by inputting technical specifications and setting up services for business customers.
- Perform on-site client training and troubleshooting as needed.
- Support new product rollouts and provide ongoing training for clients requiring additional assistance.
- Maintain customer records, treasury management sales data, and service agreements.
- Assist in annual relationship reviews for treasury management clients.
- Monitor and report treasury management service fees.
Operational & Customer Support
- Conduct debit card maintenance, issuance, and troubleshooting.
- Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers, including OFAC verifications.
- Review and process stop payments, service charge reversals, and account research requests.
- Assist with merchant deposits and ATM check deposit reviews.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email, providing solutions for online banking, mobile banking, debit card issues, and bill pay services.
- Field and resolve customer complaints with professionalism and empathy.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Adhere to all banking regulations, including BSA/AML compliance.
- Complete required compliance training and demonstrate knowledge of banking regulations.
- Ensure all customer interactions and transactions comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in banking, treasury management, operations, or customer service preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities for computer platforms, browsers, and banking software.
- Software Proficiency: Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Customer Service: Professional telephone, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Strong data entry and time management skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving: Sound judgment, organizational skills, and the ability to manage confidential information
