We are looking for a Water/Wastewater or Civil Engineer with 4 to 9 years of progressive experience in civil/site or water/wastewater system planning, design, and construction to join our team in our Baltimore, MD office.   Experience in the design of water and wastewater facilities, water transmission systems, wastewater collection systems, water storage tanks, force mains, rehabilitation of water and sewer systems, and construction administration is desired.

 

The successful candidate is expected to be able to independently work on technical tasks with minimal supervision, and lead and coordinate technical tasks when appropriate.   The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as presentation skills.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, plan, and provide design of civil/site and/or water/wastewater tasks.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, successfully manage and deliver projects on time and on budget, while meeting quality requirements.
  • Participate in construction phase, including pre-bid conferences, interpretations, and post-bid evaluations.
  • Participate in pre-project presentations and interviews.

Requirements:

  • 4 to 9 years of progressive experience in civil/site or water/wastewater system planning, design, and construction
  • B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • P.E., registered in the State of Maryland or ability to become registered through comity from another state within 6 months
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally/written at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
