Description

As a non-profit 501(c)(3), we offer services such as adult education, language learning, job training, employment assistance, citizenship and immigration services, refugee resettlement, and more.
As a Youth Services Case Manager, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive support services to unaccompanied minors and their sponsors, as well as refugee youth resettled in Rhode Island. You’ll focus on medical, legal, youth support, and school integration services, adhering to a trauma-informed care model. This role requires service delivery both in in-school and out-of-school settings, ensuring clients receive all necessary referrals and support, with timely documentation and reporting.
The Ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of relevant experience required
• At least one year of case management experience and subject matter expertise in relevant areas
• Fluency in both Spanish and English required (additional languages are a plus)
• Experience working with children, families, and the immigrant community
• Familiarity with local social and government services
• Strong interpersonal and rapport-building skills
• Experience with motivational interviewing (documented supervisor observation)
• Ability to independently identify problems and develop solutions
• Effective communication skills with diverse populations
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work
• Flexibility and ability to handle pressure
• Valid driver’s license required
