Beers Millwork is a family-owned, local supplier of custom and commodity doors, mouldings and hardware, serving the greater Charleston area. Our guiding principle is dream big, while staying small. Service, selection and style are our calling cards and we are currently seeking a Delivery Material Handler who aligns with our vision.

We have an immediate need to fill this  position and request only qualified candidates apply.

This position will assist with the safe and accurate delivery of materials from the warehouse (located in Mount Pleasant) to each job site location. The role will require the unloading of orders according to customer specifications with the help of various equipment, at times a forklift may be required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered materials meet quality standards
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Organize stock in the most efficient ways using forklifts, pallets, etc.
• Receive and check incoming pick-tickets; pull materials to fulfill orders
• Deliver products in non-CDL required vehicles
• Check all loads for accuracy, ensuring they are thoroughly secured for delivery
• Provide warehouse support as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to repeatedly lift products weighing 75-150 lbs. (very physical position)
• Ability to stand, bend, twist and climb throughout the shift
• Experience in using warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with a good record, supporting documentation will be required
• Availability to work 5-6 days a week (days and times vary based on work) No Sundays
• Dexterity and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written skills
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills
